Are you looking for more postnatal support for you and your baby? For families not having full continuity services, our midwife appointments in clinic on Thursdays aims to provide support and advice to families during those early days and weeks with your newborn baby.
Our focus is physical and emotional well-being of both Mum and baby which includes the usual health checks, as well as lots of time for discussion of early parenting, baby feeding and settling tips, or any other individual concerns. Our appointments are 30 mins long to ensure thorough and mindful care. Older children, partners and support people always welcome.
Our midwives have a broad scope of practice and are experienced in providing a high standard of breastfeeding support. We also refer to experienced IBCLCs as needed to manage complex feeding issues if required.
Investment $65 per appointment. Medicare rebate available in clinic $56
